They are known for their penchant for VERY old tobacco. They find the years of extra aging allow the tobacco to mature…bringing our their more refined character and complexity. And that tobacco is all they used for the Blessed Leaf 1911.
Blessed Leaf 1611 was originally released many years ago. It was one of the first small batch projects we ever blended. We’ve only now been able to produce more because we finally got our hands on all the rare tobaccos it contains.
Those who were fortunate enough to get their hands on 1611 will tell you…It’s one of the most decadent and delicious cigars you will ever smoke! The complexity is off the chart!
1611 is a full-bodied, medium/full strength toro wrapped in a 7-year-aged San Andres Maduro leaf. Fillers are all Corojo visos and ligeros from Nicaragua.
First light explodes with flavor across the palate. Cocoa, creamed coffee, and vanilla bean. Hints of black pepper and licorice followed closely by oak wood. Retrohale adds a strong red chili burn.
As it progresses, smooth leather notes emerge adding to the body of the cigar. Dark chocolate flavors increase along with cashew and burnt marshmallow sweetness on the finish.
Halfway, the blend rounds out and the smooth character begins to show. Big creamy notes grow with added hints of cinnamon.
Last third, the burn stays cool and sharp. Espresso and charred oak whiskey barrel come to the fore balanced by heavy cream and a long sweet finish.
Completely epic in every regard!
Blessed Leaf 1611 is legendary and will be SOLD OUT very fast! This cigar’s reputation precedes it! Beg, borrow, or steal but whatever you do…don’t miss this cigar!
