Before the Smoke

Dark brown maduro wrapper. Plume and well aged. A small feathered tear at the foot-- which was taken care of after the first light

Cold Draw

Barnyard, hay, & pepper on the lips

Easy and smooth dry draw

First Third

Pepper and spice,  cinnamon, cedar on the finish

Very smooth draw. Razor sharp burn line.

Pepper bomb on the retrohale…the kind that open up your sinuses for sure!

Well into the first third, a new note of chocolate came into the profile leaving each puff cinnamon and chocolate-filled.

Second Third

Carolina Blue CigarsThe pepper and spice backed off letting the chocolate and cinnamon take over.

Still a very smooth draw and huge cloud of chewy smoke.

The pepper and spice still present during the retrohale but more mild at this point. Still leaves a very delicious chocolate taste with a smidgen of cinnamon on the palate with each puff.

The burnline was razor sharp.  Medium to Full body smoke.

Final Third

Carolina Blue CigarsA fantastic chocolate finish.

Razor sharp burnline.

At end of the final third, the spice came back a bit. A great combination of spice, chocolate and a little cinnamon profile.

Finishing more of a full body.

The smoke is still chewy and full.

Final Thoughts

An amazing combination of note profiles. I was very impressed with the composition of pepper, spice, chocolate & cinnamon.

No relight or touchups needed.

I imagine enjoying this cigar with a coffee or espresso or a Guinness, if you are a beer fan would compliment this cigar’s awesome profiles.

Purchase Cigar

The company was founded in April 2016 in the Dominican Republic, with Tabacalera F. De La Cruz factory presenting Christopher Moore the opportunity to start his own cigar brand. After months of testing the product andaoverwhelming positive responses, the blend was born.

“We are not the average cigar company that produces 50,000 cigars a week. Our cigars are handcrafted in small quantities with specificity, at a maximum of 2,000 sticks a week. We care about the product we produce and every stick is inspected for quality and appearance.”
